Suzuki Cars on the world market
Suzuki Motor Co. Ltd, a Japanese company, which specializes in production baby cars and compact cross-country capacity cars. The company was set up by Michio Suzuki in a small village in 1920. But the first car was completed only 1939 as the civil car making industry wasn't thought to be necessary in Japan at that time.
After the World War II the company started producing motobicycles. In the next years Suzuki bikes became very popular in the world. Only then Suzuki made its first car, which was absolutely innovative for that time – front-end wheel and four-drive wheel, independent suspension. These features soon became standards for all the cars in the world.
In the 80s the company started to manufacture micro auto Fronte / Alto / Cervo which were sold like hot cakes in the US because of its practical and sporty character.
Suzuki is very famous for such models as Escudo Vitara, Gran Vitara.
Suzuki has developed from a small textile company into a big corporation which employs more than 15 000 people and which sell to more than 170 countries around the globe.
