Porsche
Porsche is a German car-making company. The firm was set up by the constructor Ferdinand Porsche as a design bureau in 1931. They designed a racing car in 1936. This company designed the first model of Volkswagen car.
Only in 1939 the studio launched three cars which are prototypes of future Porsche. During the war the car production was stopped because the factory produced cars for the war actions. In 1948 the firm made its first small sporty car Porsche 356. In very short time the car won the competitions in Europe.
Then Porsche Carrera, Porsche spider, Porsche Gran Tourismo came. For about 15 years Porsche-356 was one of the most prestigious sporty cars in the world. But some changes were necessary, and a new model was presented – Porsche 911 which had several versions.
The latest model is Turbo 996 which possesses all the best qualities by Porsche.
