Chrysler

The Chrysler company was started by the engineer and the businessman Walter Percy Chrysler after reorganizing its own company. In 1924 the first model was manufactured and it made the company very popular. The next few years such models as Plymouth and Desoto were introduced.

In 1955 the Chrysler company became a corporation and began to purchase some European brands which were considered as the company's subsidiaries.

The 70s were the hard time for Chrysler as the company got almost bankrupt. The company hired a famous Japanese manager to reorganize the firm and to restore the company's prestige. He joined some car brands and opened a new era for the company. They commenced to produce economical cars, trucks and vans.
