Buick
David Buick started his business in 1903 when he founded a car making company "Buick Motor Car Company". The same year the first car was built. In 1908 the company joined GM and became its independent division. The Americans liked the car so much that in the first years about 10 000 cars were sold.
In the 30s Buick became one of the symbols of American auto making business. During the World War II the company produced military equipment.
At present the Buick division of GM manufactures cheap, full-size front wheel drive cars for middle class only in the USA.
