Audi
The Audi company was set up after the court trial. Because of the disagreement between the partners of the company Horch, the founder of the company had to leave it and to start a new business which got the name "Audi".
The first car was similar to all the cars produced by Horch Company, but the owner wanted to be unique trying to modify engines.
The Audi company took active part in different competitions wining various prizes. In 1912-1914 the car was called "The Alps Conqueror". Up to the World War II the company was quite active introducing different models. After the war the brand Audi disappeared for some time and only in 1957 the brand was restored.
Audi was the first company to start all-wheel drive cars. Now Audi cars are popular in Europe and all over the world.
